Connecting and engaging with our people

Logan Together’s collective impact approach brings people together in a structured way to make an impact in their community. When we harness our community’s energy and commitment we can identify changes that will make a real difference in our lives and the lives of our kids.

Eighteen months down the track and we are in a great position to reflect on what’s been working well in engaging local people, and what needs improvement or attention – action learning in action!

Sandra Fields from Fieldworx is working with Logan Together stakeholders to help us with this reflection by developing a practical model going by the working title of People’s Connection and Engagement.

Sandra has been meeting with community reps and others connected with Logan Together to develop a practical, grounded approach for getting this right. Building on the work already being done Sandra is helping to create a strategic framework and implementation plan around our existing activities to position them appropriately and identifies any gaps in our current efforts.

The draft People’s Connection and Engagement Model will be presented to the Leadership Table for their consideration in September.
