Early Years Family Fun Days delight

The little ones were having all the fun at an Early Years Fun Day held this week in Logan and there’s more fun to come in August.

The July event was packed with activities to delight kids aged 0 – 5 and included face painting, music, art and craft. A free BBQ was on offer to refuel hungry tummies after an action packed morning.

The Family Fun Day events are a community collaboration, organised through the Woodridge Early Childhood Educators Network and local schools to help introduce children and their carers to Kindy and Big School.

Carers who attended the Family Fun Day received a checklist with helpful information on enrolment procedures and requirements, accessing pre-prep programs at local schools, attending Kindy and how to help kids get ready for Big School.

Representatives from local schools and kindys and community services were on hand to help answer any questions carers or kids might have about starting Kindy or Big School.

The first Fun Day held on July 26 at The Family Place in Woodridge saw more than 200 carers and children joining in the fun and learning about ways to help get ready for Kindy and Big School. Click here to view highlights from the day.
