Go Goldfields celebrates 30 Days of Loved and Safe

Our friends from the Go Goldfields collective impact project in Victoria have been running a great social marketing campaign throughout November aimed at helping Goldfield kids to feel more confident and secure.

The Loved and Safe campaign was launched on November 1 and has been using Go Goldfields social media channels, supported by newspaper, radio and a network of early childhood education facilities, to share fun ideas to help parents and carers connect with their children.

The campaign features Go Goldfields message bears Hugs and Cuddles with fun, easy to implement ideas to connect parents and carers with their children.

Parents were encouraged to share their experiences of the campaign by posting photos of them and their children enjoying the activities via #lovedandsafe on Instagram.

The campaign was based on findings from the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) which show children and young people who feel loved and safe are more confident, have a stronger sense of self-identity and have higher self-esteem. ARACY data also shows they are more likely to form secure relationships with family and friends and are more resilient.
