Residents aged 12 and younger will be having all the fun this month as the ImagiNation Children’s Festival returns to Logan for the school holidays.

Run by Logan City Council from September 16 to October 1, the festival will feature activities to inspire Logan kids to explore their talents and interests and develop their creative potential.

Monday September 18 will see the official launch of the festival at Mayes Cottage in Kingston with a day of free family friendly activities on offer and food and drinks for sale. Children will also get their voices heard at the launch with Council’s Community Engagement Team on hand to hear young people’s thoughts on activities and programs they would like to see in Logan.

Activities include art, sports, cooking, chocolate making, robotics, poetry and music and will be held at venues across the city. Truck loving kids can even book a tour the Browns Plains Landfill site and see heavy machinery at work while learning about recycling.

There are also two competitions to enter with great prizes on offer. Bookings are essential for both free AND ticketed events so make sure you visit this website to see the full program and secure your spots.
