Did you know Logan is more diverse than New York City?
It’s also one of the fastest growing areas in Australia, with an extra 200,000 people coming to live in the city over the next 20 years.
We’re a very young city with around 50 per cent of residents aged 30 or younger. Within 30 minutes drive of Logan Central live the largest number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people under 25 in Australia.
We welcome people from all over the world and from every walk of life. That’s what makes Logan a great place to live, work and grow up. It’s a unique place – with unique needs. Tapping into this diverse community and what’s needed to make it thrive requires a genuine collaboration between community, industry and government. If we all have the same goal in mind – a bright future for our children – there’s nothing holding us back.
We have prepared detailed profiles for suburbs across Logan which is being used by Logan Together partners to inform the work being done. Check them out here.
