Feel Good Futures Co-design of Local Solutions – Workshop One
Workshop 1: Aligning and building the foundations for success.
As we entered the grounds of Griffith Uni, we were invited to engage in playful activities along the way, including hopscotch, skittles and dancing. We then gathered in a room filled with activities children would love: balls, outdoor games, colourful kites and Twister! Aunty Robyn Williams welcomed us to the Ancestral Lands and reminded us of the wisdom First Nations cultures offer when having big conversations like this.
The day was spent understanding the opportunity before us and exploring how we might seize it through engaging, collaborative activities. When our brains got tired, nutritious food fuelled our bodies, and fun, silly movement gave us energy for the big conversations. By the end of the day, we had formed new connections and felt a strong sense of hope for the work ahead!
