Workforce Development

Building a connected, capable and community-informed workforce for Logan’s children and families.

What is Workforce Development?

Workforce development is a coordinated, cross-sector effort to build the capacity, skills and sustainability of the people and organisations needed to achieve Logan Together’s big goal and enables the initiatives in Logan’s First 2000 Days Model.

Logan Together directly coordinates workforce development through provision of training opportunities and providing a container for partners and community to come together to share best practice, co-design solutions and engage in two-way learning.

It goes beyond training individuals or strengthening a single organisation, focusing on shaping a system-wide workforce that can collectively deliver on Logan’s Collective Plan.

The Logan Together ‘Ingredients for Impactful Service Delivery’ provides a set of community-identified conditions which increase participation and inclusion within services and offer insights into the elements of workforce development that matter most to our community.
