Cath Bartolo is a respected community leader with more than 40 years' experience in community services and education and a long-standing commitment to the Logan community, since 1989.

As the former CEO of YFS Ltd, Cath led one of Logan's largest community service organisations, championing initiatives that supported vulnerable and disadvantaged people to build independence, resilience and meaningful participation in their communities. Throughout her career, she has worked across a broad range of social issues, including poverty, homelessness, domestic and family violence, child welfare, youth participation, unemployment and financial wellbeing.

Cath is passionate about creating stronger communities and improving opportunities for children, young people and families. Her collaborative leadership has contributed to a number of significant community initiatives and partnerships across Logan and Queensland.

In recognition of her contribution to social welfare and the community, Cath was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2022 for significant service to youth, social welfare and the Logan community.

Cath has held Board and leadership positions with the Queensland Council of Social Services (QCOSS), Logan City of Choice, the Logan Housing and Homelessness Strategy Group, Not Now, Not Ever in Logan, and the Logan Local Advisory Group for Better Futures, Local Solutions.

She currently serves as a Board Director of Mercy Partners Ltd and Logan Together Ltd. Cath has been involved with Logan Together since its inception, serving on the Leadership Table from 2015 to 2023 and previously as a Board Director from 2015 to 2019.

A Social Worker by profession, Lindsay Wegener worked as a child protection and youth justice practitioner, senior policy-maker and operational director within the Queensland Government for around 20 years. He then joined the non-government sector and worked in executive director roles within various organisations delivering a range of family-based and residential care services, disability, family support and outreach programs. In 2007, Lindsay commenced working privately providing consultancy and contracted services to both government and non-government agencies including, in particular, the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak. In 2011, Lindsay became the Chief Executive Officer of PeakCare Queensland, a child protection peak body. After serving in this position for 12 years, Lindsay retired from this role in 2023. Later that year, Lindsay happily joined the Logan Together Board, attracted by, and strongly committed to, the organisation’s progressive values, ethos and principles.

A less well- known fact about Lindsay’s history is that, in what seems like a lifetime ago, he held the title of Queensland’s boy soprano champion for three years running!

Lyn Hamill has spent her entire career working within the healthcare sector at clinical, management and senior levels. Her experience in multiple not for profit organisation at executive and board level, her understanding of the healthcare sector and her strategic thinking brought her to Logan Together. She uses her holidays to volunteer in Siem Reap for a Cambodian charitable organisation focusing of young people and women who come in conflict with the law.

Kevin is a Partner and Queensland Risk Consulting Leader at Grant Thornton in Brisbane. He is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor who brings over 30 years’ experience across both public and private sectors in Australia, USA and Europe.

Kevin works with boards and senior leaders across a broad range of sectors to achieve their organisations' purpose and strategic objectives by better understanding enterprise and technology risks and embed contemporary controls to effectively manage them. He is also passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and is actively involved in Grant Thornton's Diversity At Work Now (DAWN) network to create a more inclusive workplace where people feel safe to bring their best selves.

Kevin is passionate about giving back to the community. He currently has served on several for-purpose boards seeking to promote social and educational outcomes. These include the Forde Foundation, Logan Together, Loreto College Coorparoo and Villa Nova College. He is also Past President and current Board Director of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Brisbane Chapter and has also served on a number of international ISACA sub-committees.

Will Davis is an Aboriginal man from the Cobble Cobble people of Queensland, a Murri. He comes from a strong line of quiet achieving people. He has learnt Aboriginal ways from closely and humbly observing his elders, his father, uncles and other significant people in his community. In all of his work, he respectfully acknowledges his people throughout Australia, both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Will has experience as a teacher, community worker, University lecturer and tutor. He is a proud participant and founding member of community Durithunga - an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander independent education group that strives for Indigenous cultural integrity and equality for jarjums.

Will is currently undertaking a PhD in developing a cultural strengths curriculum and research methodology using Indigenous Knowledge principles and community developed and owned practices and processes. He is extending the research work accumulated over many years of education and community practice including a Master's thesis on 'Spear Making' which revitalised an important practice as a learning program integrating knowledge coding, collective and individual assessment through tracking, reflecting and presenting that knowledge journey.

Despite his aging body, Will plans on playing cricket till at least 50 and has been a frequent member of the Queensland Imparja Cup team that has won more national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cricket titles than any other state.

Dr Michelle Lucas is the Executive Director of Logan Together, a community-led, place-based Collective Impact initiative in Queensland focused on improving outcomes for Logan’s children. Michelle has worked for 25 years designing, codifying and implementing a collective approach and influencing policy to address complex social challenges nationally and internationally. She has provided long-term and embedded Backbone support to place-based collaborations and communities, urban, regional and remote, supporting place-based efforts focused on the Early Years and beyond.

Adrienne leads the implementation of Logan Together’s First 2000 Days Model, focused on influencing the system to achieve Logan’s reimagined early childhood system. Drawing on her experience in the Australian Public Service, she supports the Logan community to advocate for policy change - elevating lived experience, facilitating big conversations and navigating systems and processes. Driven by equity for children, Adrienne is a mum of two who spends her spare time on the side of a soccer field, committed to ensuring lived experience meaningfully shapes policy so it works for communities.

Dave Porter leads coordinated action with cross-sectoral groups to strengthen partnership alignment to community priorities and enhance shared decision-making. He is committed to strengthening Collective Impact practice, identifying strategic opportunities for others to lead, and supporting the sustainability of place-based, community leadership. His passion extends to the great outdoors and getting barefoot on country.

Dan Rawlins is the Director of Collective Impact at Logan Together. He has worked alongside communities across Australia using Collective Impact approaches to help tackle complex social challenges. While every community is unique, Dan believes there are shared learnings and pathways that can help communities move from ideas to meaningful change.

In his role, Dan walks alongside Logan Together’s focus community backbone leads as they guide local Collective Impact efforts. He brings experience in designing and facilitating co design processes, helping partners make sense of complex systems and translate community insight into practical action.

Drawing on a creative background spanning animation, graphic design, collaborative workshop design and facilitation, music creation, and sustainable building, Dan brings a design minded lens to his passion for elevating community voice through the rigours of Collective Impact.

Deb leads the business in strategy, governance, finance and organisational performance of Logan Together. She brings significant C-suite and Company Secretary roles experience from across the not-for-profit, arts and commercial sectors. She is committed to strengthening organisations so they can create lasting impact for children, families and communities and is passionate about Logan Together’s role in supporting the Logan community.

Nat is a Community Engagement Specialist at Logan Together and the founder of Mums n’ Bubs Logan. For the past 16 years, she has supported the social and emotional wellbeing of women, building a community of more than 33,000 members. She is passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces — both online and through weekly playgroups - where mums feel heard, supported and connected. Outside of work Nat is a wife and mum of 4 and has lived in Logan for over 35 years.

Shonna leads communications for the Logan Together movement, translating complex work into clear, accessible stories across diverse communication platforms. Driven by community-led change and strong relationships, she is a proud Pasifika woman born and raised in Logan with deep connection to the community she serves

Journalist in Residence. Craig is an accomplished television and radio reporter with over 15yrs experience covering Indigenous Affairs Australia wide for NITV, Triple J and the ABC. For over 7 years Craig has documented historical moments in the Logan community utilising his expertise in photography and videograpy bringing our stories to life. Enthusiastic runner, Dog owner and Comedian

A creative at heart, Alex uses communications and design to help bring the Logan Together movement to life across a range of communications. She is always looking for creative and engaging ways to amplify community voice and make the movement's impact more visible and understood.

Jodie walks alongside community to centre equity and inclusion across the Logan Together movement. She brings a lifelong commitment to social justice and cross-sector experience in place-based health, education, and research. She’s also a mum of two, a long-time yoga practitioner, and an enthusiastic (but terrible) tennis player.

Thea leads UMEL (understanding, measuring, evaluation and learning) for the Logan Together movement. She does this by working with community, service providers and government partners to collect the right data and information and turn these into insights, evidence and learnings of the effectiveness and outcomes of the movement. She is a learner of all things, constantly enjoying learning about cultures, languages and people

Tina-Marie is a strong Maori wahine and proud mama of three who has lived and worked in Logan for the past 15 years. A very dedicated community leader with strong local connections and deep roots in the region.
She champions community-led change, strengthens relationships, and amplifies local voices through her work with Logan Together. Guided by collaboration, cultural pride, and lived experience, she is committed to inclusive change for Logan.

Nicole is a community-driven leader within the Strong Beginnings focus community of the Logan Together movement, supporting the growing communities of Yarrabilba and Logan Village. With a background in human services, in particular child protection, she brings frontline experience into collective impact work - aligning cross-sector partners, translating community voice into action, and driving sustainable systems change so children, families, and community thrive.

Fiona is the Backbone Lead for Strong Beginnings in Yarrabilba and Logan Village, part of the Logan Together movement, where she brings people together to create positive, lasting change. She provides coordination and strategic leadership to support a Collective Impact approach, connecting community, government, business, education, and service partners to improve social, economic, and wellbeing outcomes for local residents. With a small business background and extensive experience in staff training and workforce development, Fiona is passionate about nurturing people and building strong, supportive community networks

Justin brings strong experience working across organisations, systems and places to improve outcomes for children and families. As Backbone Lead for the Berrinba Friends Group, he works alongside local people through collective impact to help turn shared hopes and priorities into action.

A Logan local for more than 35 years, Justin is privileged to be surrounded by four generations of family. These deep roots drive his commitment to the place he knows and loves, and to building a stronger future for Berrinba’s children.
