Feel Good Futures Co-design of Local Solutions – Workshop Two
Workshop 2: Gaining a deep understanding of the space
We arrived to a room bursting with colour, where all our work from workshop one was displayed on the walls. Around the room and outside on the balconies were areas set up where people working in Logan were showcasing their activities that contribute to the health and wellbeing of children.
Glenda from Family LinQ Acknowledged Country and grounded us in the importance of First Nations health wisdom. We explored activities underway internationally, nationally and locally and thought deeply about how effective they might be in improving health in Logan.
We stretched our brains and our bodies together – including through a conga line! We didn’t let rain or, even a power outage and evacuation interrupt our big work to understand what would work in Logan and add to Logan’s Golden Insights!
